The late Monday fixture of MD7 saw coach Stefano Lorenzi’s U18s vanquished Sampdoria 3-2 at the “3 Campanili” stadium in Bogliasco after a game packed with goals and action in equal measure.

After Atalanta took an early lead through Camara (pictured in the cover), the home sides equalised at the threshold of halftime. The second half saw the whole goal galore unravel in a matter of mere minutes: after Previtali brought the Nerazzurri back on top of the game on 73 minutes and Sampdoria levelled from the spot in the 76th, it was Baldo who turned the match around once more, giving the visitors the lead and the three points only 2 minutes after the home side’s temporary equaliser.

Now on 43 points after 23 games, Atalanta’s Under-18 side have scrambled to second place in the standings.
