Francesco Modesto commented tonight’s defeat against Pro Patria as follows: “Tonight we should have simply been more cynical with our chances. Although we played a good first half, we should have been more sharp-witted and capitalize on our chances. All in all, while we had the match in our hands throughout the first 45 minutes; I cannot share the same positive outlook as far as the second half is concerned: especially, as far as the attitude is concern. Given all the hard work we put in during the week, we should be more resourceful and impactful on the field. We conceded a few counters too many. Now, we have no option but to shift our focus towards the Triestina home game kicking off on Tuesday”.

“Having all come through the Academy, these lads have been taught since a very young age the value of a spotless working ethos- coach Modesto goes on-. On the other hand it took some adjustment period to finally make the whole group gel and click as it should: while some players already know the ins and outs of this championship, some of them still need to find their feet.
