After bouncing back from the Vicenza setback in no time with a solid away 1-0 win in the Bergamasco derby, Atalanta U23s will be back in Caravaggio: for the Serie C NOW MD27 (Group A) fixture of Sunday 18/2 coach Modesto’s lads will welcome Alessandria in an 18:30 CET kick-off.

With the 1-0 victory over AlbinoLeffe and despite the Renate game still in hand, not only have Atalanta Under-23s tighten their grip on the 5th place in the standings rising up to 41 points; but they also managed to widen the gap from their closest pursuers, namely the Pro Vercelli-Lumezzane duo -having both teams lost in their respective MD26 fixtures.

As for Alessandria, last in the charts on 14 points and with a draw as their best result in the last 5 games, the Grigi have lost 1-0 to Mantova at the Moccagatta stadium on Tuesday.
