On matchday 5 of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League Group D the Nerazzurri are set to face Midtjylland, the Danish champions, this time at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo: the match is scheduled for Tuesday 1 December at 21 CET.

The reverse match, which was played in Herning on the 21st of October, was the first game of the group and the Danes’ first ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League group stage. The match ended in a 4-0 win for the Nerazzurri thanks to goals from Zapata, Gomez, Muriel and Miranchuk.

The team are coached by Brian Priske and are still on 0 points in the group, after the defeats also against Liverpool and twice against Ajax. In the league, after the 0-0 home draw against AaB in the last round, they lead the Superliga with 20 points after nine matches, together with ScoenderjyskE, and are two points ahead of Broendby who will play on Monday.
