Napoli 4-1 Atalanta

Lammers on the scoresheet

On matchday 4 of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM the first defeat of the season comes for Atalanta, as Napoli win 4-1.

The most beautiful news is Iličić’s comeback, who played from the start. Napoli’s start was strong as Lozano got immediately dangerous after four minutes, to which Papu responded on 22 with a left-foot curler which went just wide. One minute later Napoli broke the deadlock with Lozano, who scored a Di Lozano cross from the right, slightly touched by Sportiello. On 27 Lozano bagged a double with a right-foot curler into the far bottom corner and Politano scored a great left-foot finish from the edge of the box on 30 to the bring the result to 3-0. The game was completely compromised in the 43rd minute with Osimhen’s fourth goal. In the second half, the Nerazzurri still tried to get back into the game. On 51 the de Roon’s finish was off target, then Sportiello was amazing on Mertens’s shot. Lammers was sent through by Romero on the left and he made no mistake one-on-one with Ospina, scoring his second consecutive goal on 69. That was the 4-1 goal, the last of the game. Now focus on the Champions League.
