They have overcome the previous record wins: the 7-1 victory over Triestina in 1952 and the 7-1 win over Udinese this season, both at home. The biggest win ever is still the 8-0 victory away to Sarajevo in last year’s qualifying of the UEFA Europa League.

The 57 goals scored after 21 Serie A games also mark a new record for the club. Atalanta overcame the 56 goals scored by Lazio after the same number of games in the 2017-2018 season and equalised the 57 goals scored from Juventus in the 1959-60 season.
