It’s finally official: Sam Lammers is a new Atalanta player!
After putting pen to paper in the presence of Giovanni Sartori, Head of the Technical Area, here is his first interview as a Nerazzurri player.

“My impressions here are really good. I’m really happy to be finally here. I saw the training ground and everyone was really friendly to me. I had lunch with the team, I met the players. I’m really happy to be here and I’m looking forward to starting”.

“I’ve followed Atalanta for many years now, they’ve been doing really well especially in the last couple of years. I followed them last year, of course, in the Champions League. They did really well. Unfortunately they couldn’t get further [in the competition], but it’s an honour for me to be a part of this team and I’m looking forward to making some more good memories with the team”.

“I’m an attacking player, a striker, so I like to score many goals. I think I’m a technical player, I shoot with both legs. That’s who I am as a player”.

“In my free time I spend time with my family, with my friends and just relax. I don’t really have many hobbies”. 

“I saw the other two Dutch guys today. I spoke to them and they were really nice to me, I think they can help me a lot in my first period in Italy, because it’s of course a big change for me to move from the Netherlands to Italy. They are really friendly and they can help me a lot”.

“My goal this season is to win a lot of matches with the team, hopefully have a great season like last year’s and score a lot of goals for Atalanta, these are my goals”.
