Papu Gomez is November’s ItalianOptic Man of the Month!

The two finalists of the first phase, voted by Atalanta fans on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), were Papu Gomez and Mario Pašalić and the Argentinian won the third contest of the season after a hard-fought head-to-head.

The Nerazzurro captain was the real leader of the team in November. He played 495 minutes – he was only substituted in the second half against Cagliari – and provided excellent quality performances, under every aspect.

He assisted Pašalić in the home draw against Manchester City and scored an absolute beauty in the win against Dinamo Zagreb, securing Atalanta’s first-ever UCL win. Congrats Papu!
