A short ceremony, yet full of meaning: Italy and the Netherlands paid homage to Bergamo and the victims of the pandemic at the monumental cemetery of the city.

A moment of gathering and prayer to pay tribute “To Bergamo, to the Bergamaschi” we read on the wreath placed by FIGC, “For the victims of Bergamo” is written on the one deposited by Knvb.

The ceremony was attended by the Italian National team manager Roberto Mancini, the head of delegation Gianluca Vialli and the team manager Gabriele Oriali, the president of Knvb Just Spee and the general secretary Gijs de Jong. President Antonio Percassi and the mayor of Bergamo Giorgio Gori also participated.
