How long is our current unbeaten run in Turin against Juve?
In their last five Allianz Stadium clashes played against Juventus, not once have the Nerazzurri known defeat. Our run of useful outcomes first started in May 2019 with the 1-1 draw, courtesy of Iličić and Mandzukić, which secured UEFA Champions League football for the first time in Atalanta’s history. Goals certainly weren’t lacking last season: while Lookman gave the Nerazzurri an early lead on 4 minutes, Juventus turned the match around before halftime with Di Maria and Milik; in the opening of the second half, Atalanta levelled and pulled one away through Mæhle and Lookman’s second of the night. In the end it was Danilo who set the final score on a 3-3 standstill.

Lookman scored his only away brace at the Allianz Stadium.
As stated above, last year’s game at the Allianz Stadium was marked by Ademola Lookman’s brace. Ever since landing in Bergamo, the Nigerian striker has scored four “duplets”: namely, against Salernitana, Spezia, Juventus and Milan last December. With three out of his four duads scored within the Gewiss Stadium premises, the Allianz stadium was the only venue where Mola found his multiple scoring ways. To put it more broadly, Lookman has favoured three Serie A goals against Juventus -namely, his brace and the assist dished out to Mæhle in the January 2023 game. Only against Salernitana has Lookman bettered his Juventus figures with one assist this season, his brace and another key pass in our 8-2 January 2023 win.

Ever since landing in the Serie A, against no other team has Marten de Roon picked up more draws (seven) than Juventus: namely, the 2-2 homely honours even in October 2017; the 1-1 Allianz Stadium draw of May 2019; another 2-2 tie in Turin in July 2020; the 1-1 draw of December 2020 at the Allianz Stadium, the umpteenth 1-1 honours even, this time in Bergamo, back in January 2022; last season’s 3-3 game in Turin and, last in order of appearance, the 0-0 reverse fixture.
