With last month’s award slipping away from Marten‘s grasp as he clinched the silver medal, this time he ticked all the right boxes to bring the trophy home: stunning performances, his usual personality and his header against Empoli to cue the black-and-blue comeback. On the second step of the podium sits Rasmus Højlund, our Danish wonderkid, on the grounds of the late match-winner scored against the Tuscan side, his current golden moment and his top-notch shape.
