Rasmus Højlund, Atalanta’s most recent signing, will hardly forget the matches against Torino and Monza.

At the Gewiss Stadium, in the midweek round against Torino on Thursday 1 September, the young Dane made his official debut in front of the Atalanta fans, taking to the pitch for the first time in the Atalanta shirt in Serie A: he replaced Duván Zapata 37 minutes into the first half. For the record, the match ended with a 3-1 victory for Atalanta.

At Monza, on Monday 5 September, Rasmus played his first game as a starter. The young Dane repaid Gian Piero Gasperini’s trust as he opened the scoring in the game, which then ended with a 2-0 victory for Atalanta.
