The Netherlands of Marten de Roon and Teun Koopmeiners punched a ticket for the World Cup quarter-finals that will take place on Friday 9 December – mission accomplished.
The Netherlands overcame the USA 3-1 in the one-off tie of the Round of 16 and the two Atalantini played one half each, as de Roon featured in the first half, while Koopmeiners in the second one.
Argentina, who defeated Australia 2-1, will be their opponent in the quarter-finals.

Mario Pašalić‘s turn will be on Monday 5 December, as Croatia will take on Japan at 16:00 CET.
