La Scuola allo stadio: the recap of week 1

With over 1,200 students attending

As the first week of the 21st edition of “La Scuola allo Stadio”, the socio-educational initiative promoted and organised by Atalanta mainly aimed at all primary and secondary school students, drew to its close, it is now time to put the first four meetups in a nutshell:

FIRST MEETING: HOSTED BY ALBERTO MASI AND ANDREI RACU

With the ribbon-cutting premiering on Monday, defenders Alberto Masi and Andrei Racu, respectively from Atalanta U23s and U17s, played hosts answering the questions and satisfying the curiosities of our young attendees, namely the 14 classes from: the “Belotti” High School of Bergamo, the “Galli” High School of Bergamo, the “Paleocapa” State Industrial and Technical Institute of Bergamo, the “Pesenti” Professional institute for the industry and craftmanship of Bergamo, the “Rubini” Technical Institute of Romano di Lombardia and the “Mascheroni” Scientific High School of Bergamo – for a grand total of over 300 students.

SECOND MEETING: HOSTED BY CANDAS FIOGBE

On Tuesday, it was Atalanta Primavera’s striker Candas Fiogbe who welcomed the over 200 students (14 classes) gathered up from: the S. Riva High School of Sarnico, the I.P.A. educational institution of San Pellegrino, the “Manzù” Artistic High School of Bergamo, the “Federici” Scientific High School of Trescore Balneario, the “Turoldo” Scientific High School of Zogno and the “Amaldi” Scientific High School of Alzano Lombardo.

THIRD MEETING: HOSTED BY BIRKIR JONSSON

With meeting number three taking place on Wednesday, another Primavera striker held the floor. Namely, the Icelandic striker chaperoned the 14 classes (300 students) from: the “Leonardo Da Vinci” Scientific High School of Bergamo, the “Capitanio” Secondary School of Bergamo, the “I Mille” Secondary School of Bergamo, the “Maria Consolatrice” Secondary School of Sant’Omobono Imagna, the Secondary school of Suisio-Bottanuco and the Secondary School of Treviolo.

FOURTH MEETING: HOSTED BY MATTIA TAVANTI

On Thursday, it was U19s’ defender Mattia Tavanti who held the closing act of the February ’24 session. 14 more classes (for a total of 300 guests) attended the event. Namely, the students from: the BB School of Scanzorosciate, the Secondary Schools of Carobbio degli Angeli, Mozzo, Gandino and Casnigo, the “Rubini” Secondary School of Romano di Lombardia and the “Camozzi” Secondary School of Bergamo.

 

The “La Scuola allo Stadio” project, set to involve 3,135 students across 64 schools, will make its return in late March with five further meetings scheduled for March 19, 20, 21, 26  and 27.
