Matchday 11 of the 2023-2024 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” saw our Primavera side share the spoils with Inter, the league leaders, at the Carillo Pesenti Pigna in Alzano Lombardo thanks to Vlahović snatching a late 1-1 equaliser.

The first half was a balanced and hard-fought affair. While the Inter defence charged down Vavassori’s 6th-minute attempt, Pardel easily muted Quieto’s cross-shot. Before half-time, Di Maggio gave it a whirl twice but his efforts were off target.

Although the visitors broke the deadlock 59 minutes into the match through Sarr’s header, Atalanta’s reaction was not late in coming and Manzoni set up Vavassori, whose 61st-minute header was off target. At that point, it was all Atalanta pressure. After Bonanomi’s finish in the 82nd minute was weak and Pardel managed to parry Di Maggio’s effort on 88 minutes, Bosi’s lads found the equaliser in the 89th minute: Bonanomi’s through ball found Castiello, whose assist was turned into the net by Vlahović. Manzoni came really close to giving Atalanta the lead on 93 minutes when his finish from the edge of the box forced a save out of the Inter goalkeeper. The match against black and blue sides ended 1-1 at the Carrillo Pesenti Pigna stadium in Alzano.
