Primavera: Milan 3-1 Atalanta

Vlahović with the opener, then the Rossoneri's comeback

On matchday 6 of the 2023-2023 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” league, Milan came from behind to win 3-1 at the Vismara Sporting Centre in Milan.

After a strong start from the hosts, with Eletu’s 8th-minute effort forcing a corner, Bonomi missing the target on 12 minutes, Jimenez’s right-foot shot from the edge of the box inches wide and Stalmach’s close-range attempt well saved by Pardel, Atalanta retorted with a 35th-minute breakaway finish by Martinelli, which was inches off target. The deadlock was broken in the 40th minute after Mendicino and Bonanomi combined to set up Vlahović, who did not miss his date with a goal.

In the second half, the hosts stepped up the press and managed to level the score on 68 minutes with an Eletu long-range finish from Eletu. The Rossoneri then took the lead through Zeroli’s header on 72 minutes and made it 3-1 with another Zeroli goal, this time a bicycle kick.
