On matchday 8 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, coach Brambilla’s Atalanta perform a comeback to seal a 2-2 draw at the Ricci stadium in Sassuolo.

After Italeng’s attempt in the opening minutes, Sassuolo took the lead through Reda who scored the opener from inside the box. The hosts doubled their lead thanks to Marginean’s penalty, but the reaction of the Nerazzurri was vehement. Gyabuaa broke into the box and won a penalty who was then converted by Panada and that reopened the game. After two minutes and a nice Nerazzurri team move refined by Kobacki set it up for Vorlicky who fired a right-footed volley into the top corner. In the second half, Brambilla’s men pushed hard in order to get a win, but the best chance of the half came off Cittadini, whose header in the final minutes was just wide.
