As all international commitments have drawn to their end, the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” league will reprise with Atalanta’s outing against Fiorentina as part of Matchday 25: the aforementioned fixture, scheduled for Saturday the 1st of April at 15:00 CEST at the stadium Torrini in Sesto Fiorentino, will be aired by Sportitalia (both via the SoloCalcio DTT and the official App).

As the team coached by Marco Fioretto are to hit the pitch with another outing (after the latest commitment against Cesena), the Primavera will try their hand at extending their winning streak (currently comprising the latest victories in both the aforementioned trip and the home match against Inter) to keep climbing the ranking, as they now sit 14th with 27 points.
Fiorentina, on the other hand, are currently 4th with 42 points and will resume league commitments after their latest home loss against Frosinone.

Being Saturday’s fixture the third encounter so far this season between the two teams, honours are currently even with one victory each between the league and the National Cup: namely, whereas the 1st-leg match, dating back to October 15, culminated in a 3-2 home win for Atalanta (courtesy of Muhameti, Omar and Vorlický); Fiorentina managed to impose themselves 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the Primavera TIM Cup played in Florence last February 8.
