The Nerazzurri’s journey in the 2020-2021 Primavera TIM CUP ends in the round of 16: at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia Lazio win 3-1.

Brambilla’s team had a good start and immediately broke the deadlock on 3: Vorlicky’s finish from the left was deflected off a defender and beat the goalkeeper. The equaliser for the visitors came on 33 with Czyz’s finish from the edge of the box. Lazio doubled their lead on 38 through Castigliani who headed home Bertini’s free-kick from the left. Minutes before half-time (40), Kobacki’s finish was parried by the goalkeeper.

The Nerazzurri pressure raised in the first minutes of the second half. After two minutes, Sidibe -with a shot from the edge- was denied by the post and seconds later, Oliveri skimmed the upright with a great finish from outside the box. Sidibe had another chance on 51 when his shot was just wide. Lazio then made it 3-1 on 75 through Franco, who scored from another Bertini free-kick. Lazio, therefore, progress to the quarter-finals.
