The journey of coach Bosi’s Atalanta Under-19s side in the 2023-2024 Primavera TIM Cup came to an end as Inter ran out 3-1 winners in the Round of 16 tie held at the Konami Training Centre in Milan.

While the hosts took the lead through Spinaccè in the 11th minute, Riccio (pictured on the cover in the stock photo) gathered from Castiello and equalised on 20 minutes. After Di Maggio’s effort was wide, Manzoni tested the home goalkeeper on 27 minutes. Inter restored their lead in the 51st minute through Di Maggio, who capitalised on a deflection, and made it 3-1 when Sarr converted from the spot. Although the Atalanta Primavera pushed hard in search of a goal to get back into the game, Inter threatened on several occasions through Sarr – whose 72nd-minute effort was parried by Pardel and then fired off target twice – and Zuberek, who was denied by the defence in stoppage time.
