A mid-week commitment awaits coach Giovanni Bosi’s Primavera: on Wednesday 6 December Atalanta Under-19s play Inter away in a 13:00 CET kick-off for the round of 16 match of the 2023/24 Primavera TIM Cup to be hosted at the Konami Training Center in Milan. The fixture will be aired by Sportitalia on the 60 DTT channel, on the Sportitalia app and on the www.sportitalia.com website.

It will be the second encounter between the two Nerazzurri teams, coming just a few days apart from their latest league fixture, played on November 25 at the Carillo Pesenti Pigna stadium in Alzano Lombardo and culminated in a 1-1 draw – with Vlahović nullifying Sarr’s temporary lead with a late equaliser.

While coach Bosi’s team have already made it through two Coppa Italia rounds (by defeating Spal 5-0 in the last-64 tie and on the grounds of the 3-1 win over Vicenza in the stage of last 32), the Milano team will make their seasonal debut in the new competition layout. Being the format of the round a single match with direct elimination, in the event of a draw after the regular 90 minutes, the passage to the next stage will be earned by the team coming out on top either at the end of the extra time or, if needs be, after penalties. The victor is to face the winner of the knock-out between Torino and Udinese.
