Scalvini featured 45′ for Italy

The Atalanta defender played in the second half of the game

In addition to the four Atalanta players called up by their respective National Teams to partake in the World Cup in Qatar (namely, de Roon, Koopmeiners, Mæhle and Pašalić), three more Atalantini have played international commitments with their National sides these days.

Giorgio Scalvini played 45 minutes in Italy’s friendly match with Austria in Vienna today. The Nerazzurro took the field in the second half of the match at the score of 2-0 for Austria, the result with which the game then ended.
On Wednesday 16 November the Italian defender played the full 90 minutes of the friendly match held in Tirana against Albania and won 3-1 by the Azzurri, his first as a starter for the Azzurri.

Matteo RUGGERI’s Italy Under-21 took on Germany in Ancona on Saturday 19 Novembre; the friendly match, in which Matteo featured for 71 minutes, ended 4-2 in favour of Die Mannschaft.

Ademola LOOKMAN featured for the first 45 minutes of the friendly match between Portugal and Nigeria that took place in Lisbon on Thursday 17 November; the hosts won 4-0, with two goals per half.

Worth noting how Mario PAŠALIĆ featured in the starting XI (subbed off at minute 65) of the run-in match preliminary to the start of the World Cup won 1-0 by Croatia against Saudi Arabia held on Wednesday 16 November in Riyad.
