First, there will be a clash against Milan on Matchday 7 of Serie A TIM, then the second break of the season for international duty and, finally, other five fixtures in the League and one in the Champions League that are scheduled for October: let’s see them together!
After the first Champions League victory in Bergamo (1-0 against the Swiss Young Boys), the Nerazzurri are ready to end a mini tour de force with the last fixture before the international break. One of the most important fixtures, which will be a real show, will be held again at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday 3 October, Atalanta-Milan (h. 20.45 CEST).
After the break, Atalanta will resume the League visiting a recently promoted team: the Nerazzurri will take on Empoli at the ‘Castellani’ on Sunday 17 at 15 CEST.
Before getting back to home matches, the first one of which is a lunchtime kick-off (h. 12.30) on Sunday 24 October, Matchday 9 of the Serie A TIM against Udinese, Atalanta will travel to England for the only European fixture of the month. Our lads will take on Manchester United in the fantastic setting of Old Trafford on the Champions League Matchday 3, Wednesday 20 October at 21.00 CEST.
Finally, October will end with two close fixtures: the first one will be an away match at the ‘Ferraris’ in Genoa on Wednesday 27 at 18:30 CEST for Sampdoria-Atalanta, the other one will take place at the Gewiss Stadium against Lazio at 15 CEST on Saturday 30.
