Freuler: “It’s a shame we didn’t win”

Milan-Atalanta post-match interview

Atalanta draw at the Giuseppe Meazza against Milan, the Nerazzurri perform a comeback through Zapata, equalising the temporary lead of the Rossoneri and then creating other chances. The draw was the perhaps the fairest result, but as Remo Freuler claimed at the end of the match: “It’s a shame we didn’t win”.

Here is the interview with the Nerazzurri midfielder:

“It’s a shame because we didn’t win the game, as we had more chances than them, hence we could have won the match. That remained a bit”.

Two teams in form for sure, you’re among the teams that have never lost after the resumption of the league.

“Yes, we saw it on the pitch. They have more confidence than six months ago. They played better in the second half than in the first half. I think we missed the last pass, especially in the second half. We know that we could have won”.

Last question, which is about the league: two games to go, Parma and Inter, and perhaps you’ll play for an important place on the table against Inter.

“Yes, like the Coach said, we want to finish second. Therefore we must win more points than them. We’ll get to these two matches at the top of our game”.
