The official start of the season is approaching and preparation continues at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia. Today, Friday 18 September, coach Gasperini held an afternoon session. Miranchuk and Pessina trained separately.

Preparation will continue tomorrow, Saturday 19 September, at the Bortolotti Training Centre behind closed doors. The 2020-2021 Serie A TIM season will kick off this weekend with matchday 1 fixtures, but Atalanta will make their debut on Saturday 26 September away to Torino, as the fixture against Lazio was postponed. Hence there is one more week to go before Gomez and his teammates’ season begins.
