Atalanta For Special win again

Claiming a 7-2 victory over Liberi di Crescere

Matchday 6 of the DPCS league (Tier 3-Group B) saw our Atalanta For Special team claim a new victory as the Nerazzurri overhauled the “Liberi di Crescere” side 7-2. The match was played in pouring rain at the Play Sport Village in Busto Garolfo, Milan, the team’s home league games venue.

Moving on to the match report. The Nerazzurri got off to the best possible start: just 20 seconds after kick-off, Mirko Rota scored from distance to put Atalanta For Special ahead. Gianmarco Masserini then doubled the lead after a give-and-go with Mateo Virgilito. Atalanta added a third goal on the stroke of half-time: Emanuele Bombardieri’s cross was met by Paolo Valota, who half-volleyed the ball into the right-hand corner of the net.

In the second half, after the visitors pulled one back, it was Mirko Bernini who made it 4-1 after bursting forward and combining with Emanuele Bombardieri. Shortly after, Bernini bagged his brace.

After the “Liberi di crescere” outfit scored again, a goal from Emanuele Bombardieri and an opposition own goal brought about by Ulisse Pezzotti made it 7-2.

Coach Gianmario Lesmo – supported in his office by Roberto Birolini, Alfredo Locati and Leonardo Marcassoli – is pleased with both the team’s notable growth and the debuts of Andrea Arrigoni, Dario Cremaschi and Stefano Boschini.

The next league fixture is scheduled for Saturday 24 February when Atalanta For Special will take on Minerva ‘B’ Cagliari on the occasion of matchday 7.
